I have to acknowledge each and every wonderful person that supports our mission on social media; who is helping me to spread the message of empathy, anti-bullying, and mental health advocacy. I especially enjoy all of the positive energy and feedback I receive from you and support! We have a common goal and that is to provide a better world; not only the generations to come, but for ourselves as well. Each and every one of us, need a better humanity.
I have yet to find anyone in the Hampton Roads area to join me on the Board of Directors. It seems that Twitter Is not as popular around here as it is out there, but I am not going to give up. I am constantly looking for ways to overcome these hurdles. I am saving up some of my own startup money and as soon as I have enough, I will hire a lawyer to help me with the proper paperwork to officially get this non-profit up and running.
I am determined that I will do good in my community. Every night I have to turn the television off when the news comes on. More violence; more children hurting each other in schools. More children dropping out of school due to excessive bullying and the less the schools seem willing to do what it takes to make actual change. To give them the benefit of the doubt; local, state and national laws need to be reformed in order to unbind their hands.
Again, if you are in Virginia, especially in the Hampton Roads area, and have an interest in helping Empathy United, please use the Contact Us page in the More Section of our site and I will get right back to you!
Thank you all again so much for your love and support. I will continue to work hard to love and support all of your! Also, I am looking for guest bloggers, if anyone is interested!
